Questembert is a town in southern Brittany, it is situated in Morbihan, France. There are almost 8 000 inhabitants.
The main monument of Questembert is named « les Halles ». This edifice was created in the XVI century by Jérôme de Carné. It was later restored in the XVII century by Estienne Charpentier. The monument is used for the weekly local producers’ market and it is also used to house an annual festival of street theatre.
High school Marcelin Berthelot
The school Marcelin Berthelot is located in Questembert. It was first created in 1965 as a technical college, then, after having the main building added, as a main high school in 1991. The school offers courses in three vocational baccalaureate diplomas:
- toolmaker technician skills;
- plastics and composites;
- accounting and secretarial skills.
It also offers three main stream baccalaureate diplomas:
- literature and the arts;
- economics and social studies.
There are also 2 technical baccalaureate diplomas in the school:
- industrial science and technology for use in sustainable development;
- commercial management science and technology.
In the school you can also find higher national diplomas in technical toolmaker technician skills as well as plastics and composites. There is also a higher diploma course in industrial model-making.
